This website is hosted by TLD Hosting. The hosting provider processes connection data required to deliver and operate the website. Information about server log processing is provided below.
When this website is accessed, the web server and hosting provider may technically process the IP address, date and time, requested file, referring page, browser and operating-system information, data volume and access status. Processing is necessary to deliver the website reliably and securely and to detect technical faults or misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interests are the secure and stable operation of this private website. Log data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required for these purposes, unless a security incident requires longer retention.
The selected language (German or English) is stored locally in the browser so that it can be used on a subsequent visit. Only the language code is saved in local storage under “razaPreferredLang”. It is not used for tracking. Selecting or restoring the language requests a page URL with the corresponding language parameter, which is therefore sent to the web server. The storage is technically required for the function requested by the user within the meaning of § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG. It remains until the language is changed or the browser data is deleted.
If you contact me by email, the information you provide is processed to handle and answer your message. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and, where the communication concerns pre-contractual steps, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Messages are deleted when the matter has been concluded and no statutory retention duty or legitimate need to retain evidence applies. Email transmission may have security vulnerabilities.
Technical hosting and email providers may process data as service providers where this is necessary. Data is not sold. Links to external services such as LinkedIn, Facebook or Spotify are ordinary links, not embedded plug-ins. Data is transmitted to those providers only after you follow a link; their own privacy policies then apply.
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible in Rhineland-Palatinate is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Rhineland-Palatinate.
Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation under Art. 21 GDPR. Providing contact details is voluntary; without a way to contact you, it may not be possible to reply. This portfolio website does not use automated decision-making, including profiling.

The preview images for “AI Explorations”, “Smart Home”, “Pharma & Healthcare”, “IT & Digital” and “Project Management & Coaching” were created and revised using OpenAI Codex and its integrated OpenAI image generation. Website owner Dr. Rami Zarife provided the concept, instructions and reference material, selected the images and approved their use.
These images illustrate the respective topics. They are not documentary photographs of actual projects, products or rooms. Depicted interfaces and devices may also be simplified or fictional. The Smart Home image is based on a supplied floorplan. The Automotive preview image is not part of this newly generated series.
The travel photographs in “Impressions” were taken by the website owner and were not generated or altered using generative AI. Information about the separate AI music, fashion and other experiments is provided with each project. OpenAI Codex also assisted with copy editing and technical development of this website; the website owner remains responsible for the published content.
The design originally used a ThemeWagon template and has been extensively revised. Bootstrap, GLightbox, Ionicons and the Inter typeface are served locally. Their respective licence and copyright notices continue to apply.
